Little Olive Leaf Café - (Re) Focus on Local Business
Next on our list of local business to feature again in our (Re) Focus on Local Business Blog, is Little Olive Leaf cafe.
Located in a fabulous position opposite the Carawatha Park on Archibald Street, Little Olive Leaf has an inviting atmosphere and is a family friendly spot to have a coffee or meal. With a choice of three distinct seating areas, this cafe has something for everyone.
The street side seating offers a view across to the park and a nice spot to stop mid "Dog Walk", jog or cycle. Sit inside to have the cafe experience with comfortable seating, magazines and a view of the delicious foods on offer from the cake fridge! Or head out the back to the garden seating area, where there is plenty of room to move, a beautiful garden with grapevine pergola and even a play area for the kids.
Business owners Melissa and Carly Simpson, aim to provide a wholesome, healthy cafe with a sense of community and sustainable values. They support local products, suppliers and small business and use seasonal produce whenever possible.
With five children between them and both living in the area, their goal in opening the cafe was to combine work and family life. To create a local business that helps build a positive identity for Willagee and make the neighbourhood a better place.
Their passion for interior design and art really shows through the decor of the cafe and they have worked hard to refect their values and interest in health and lifestyle. Stay tuned for their launch of handmade products and gifts on offer in the future!
Little Olive Leaf is open weekdays (7am-3pm) and weekends (8am-2pm).
